About PariMetal

Limburg-based PariMetal has been enriching the metal sector since 1994. The company started small and local, but soon shifted its focus towards industry and construction.

Over the years, they developed their specialization: load-bearing structures for structural applications.

3,000 tonnes of steel, processed by 12 seasoned workers, is PariMetal’s annual output. Not bad. For that, they look to their dedicated team, but certainly also to the excellent work equipment.

“We owe our annual output to the quality of our equipment combined with the know-how and professionalism we have in house,” says Jos Paridaans, manager of PariMetal.

One significant machine was purchased in 2007: a MicroStep plasma cutting machine. After cutting tens of thousands of tonnes, PariMetal’s workshop was ready for renewal.

After more than 16 years, they turned again to Wouters Cutting & Welding.

“The past years have proven to us excellent service and reliability. And of course, you make the necessary comparisons beforehand, and you also look at prices and such. But for us, these remained secondary to what really matters, and that is the rock-solid machine performance, backed by 24/7 service, always ready when you are really in trouble. That is priceless.”

PariMetal opted for a brand new MicroStep MG plasma cutting machine. In doing so, they acquired a true powerhouse. This colossus of 15 metres long and 2.5 metres wide has been equipped with a 1-metre wide shaft. The combination ensures that PariMetal can cut sheets, but also profiles, without any problems.

The load-bearing structures that PariMetal creates consist of thick steel plates. To cut these thicknesses of up to 50 mm smoothly, the machine was equipped with a Q 3000 plasma source from Kjellberg. This achieves cutting currents of up to 300A, unachievable with the old machine.

And it doesn’t stop there, because they also save handfuls of time. Where they used to have to manually drill or burn through feedthroughs, the MicroStep now does it for them.

Finally, the software is also an added value. It allows several programmes to run simultaneously. This allows cutting and programming at the same time, making PariMetal more efficient.
