About Tentvloeren
Tentvloeren is a supplier of – you guessed it – heavy-duty tent flooring. With metal frames and maintenance-free timber, they produce a solid solution for a fast-paced industry.
But a few years ago, Tentvloeren ran into a problem: long delivery times for cutting. Especially after the pandemic, waiting times were running up to 14 days. They were losing time, and therefore customers.
That was a problem because being in the event industry, Tentvloeren regularly received urgent orders.
They found the solution at the Technishow in Utrecht.
That’s where Peter from Tentvloeren met WCW and discovered the Swift-Cut plasma table. He was impressed with the demonstration he got at the fair.
“I looked at other cutting machines, but they couldn’t deliver the same performance as the Swift-Cut. In our business, we have to cut specific profiles. So the machine had to meet certain requirements. The Swift-Cut was the only one to meet these requirements.“
Shortly thereafter, WCW technicians installed the Swift-Cut at Tentvloeren.
“The installation and training were invaluable. We didn’t just get the basic instructions, the technicians also gave tips that were applicable to our unique situation.”
Today, Tentvloeren uses the machine a lot more than originally anticipated. Even though plasma is less precise than laser, it’s more economical. For them, a plasma cutter is also more than enough. At Tentvloeren, they work smoother than ever before and have even adapted their design process. And the contact?
“The contact with WCW is really good. I can always contact a technician directly with questions about operation or if I have any problems. They even use Teamviewer so they can look at the problem from behind their computer. It’s that service that helped win me over to WCW.”
