Materials like aluminum or copper would melt before you can even cut them.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><strong>Suitable for thick material<br \/>\n<\/strong>With oxy-fuel you can cut sheets up to 500 mm thick. Oxy-fuel is less accurate than plasma, though, especially for thin plate material.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><strong>Relatively inexpensive<br \/>\n<\/strong>As you work without a plasma or laser source, oxy-fuel cutting machines eliminate a large cost. On the other hand, oxy-fuel is less versatile.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><strong>Combine with plasma<br \/>\n<\/strong>Cutting through thicker material obviously requires more time. Do you cut both thick and thin sheets?
